We are a small family farm that was established on our favorite holiday ~ St. Patrick's Day!  We chose to transition from the high maintenance world of horses to the joy of raising alpacas.  After several months of planning, the inception of Limerick Hill went from dream to reality.

Our herd has become the center of our family's life... even our 3 year old son pitches in with the daily chores.  The addition of alpacas into our family has been an incredibly rewarding experience.  We are committed to keeping current with the evolving alpaca industry by attending annual AOBA shows, seminars and workshops.

In June of 2007 we purchased a Jr. Herdsire ~ SWA El Patron's Makers Mark.  We are very excited about him!  Maker's Great Grandsire on his dam's side is Royal Fawn and his Grandsire on his sire's side is the one and only 4Peruvian Legacy.  Maker's 1st fleece came in at 17.1 microns and his 2nd fleece is even more impressive.  While placing him at the Empire Extravaganza, AOBA Judge, Amanda VandenBosch stated ~ "Very soft handling, extremely bright and well-nourished fleece... this is an alpaca that you need to get your hands on!"  He is already placing well in major AOBA shows... look for Maker's introductory breeding fee for the summer of 2008!

Whether we are obtaining new information or educating others... we always enjoy "talking alpaca!"  We understand the importance of continuous support and are devoted to our customer's needs now and always throughout their alpaca endeavors.
